Going back to Cali

Being in your hometown is a little like hunkering down with your favorite book- its warm and comfortably predictable. Family, friends, good food, repeat. Yesterday my hubby went home to Texas and I am staying here for another week and a half to hang out with my family.

I have a few projects I would like to undertake:
  • While I am on vacation with 2 very talented seamstresses (my mom and sis- I'm kinda hoping there's a sewing gene and I have it too): a clutch, a purse, a vintage dress, and a nightgown for Lexi.
  • Grammy is still promising to teach me how to make creme puffs
  • Camping and going tourmaline hunting with my good friend D
  • Taking another zumba class (I laughed and had so much fun last week! I must do it again...)
  • READ!!! I just started The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner (Stephenie Meyer)

  1. Hooray Zumba!!! It's so much fun, you should definitely go again! I'm so bummed I'm going to miss you while you're in CA because I'm in Arizona this week :(

  2. Yea for being back home with family - enjoy the time, it makes you love your sweetheart even more. Hugs
