One desk, two desk, brown desk, blue desk.

Wowza! What a difference a little paint makes...the hubs & I purchased two identical desks for our home at 15 bucks a pop.  They look a lot like my dorm desk from college, but with a little elbow grease I knew I would make them shine after removing the hardware I sanded it down, and then painted it with two thin coats of Glidden's Peacock Blue and changed out the hardware.

I also had a bookshelf from when I was kid (no really, I've had it for as long as I can remember it used to live in my closet)...it has undergone many transformations as it has traveled with me. I tried spray painting it navy blue to help organize the kids room, but it wasn't the right color so I sanded it down,  repainted it to match my new "office" furniture.
